Back in June this year we walked through some of the super useful features of Adobe's Project Parfait . Project Parfait was a free web-based tool, purpose built to streamline the PSD code extraction process for teams using Photoshop as a major element in their workflow. Now Adobe have taken the tool to its next incarnation, whereby it has been integrated directly into their free cloud file storage and sharing service Creative Cloud Files (CC Files), and fittingly renamed to Extract . Extract retains all the existing functionality of Project Parfait, however the integration with CC Files along with new sharing capabilities aims to make collaboration on PSDs between designers and developers much quicker and easier. Let's take a look at how the Extract workflow runs. Uploading or Syncing Files Using Extract starts with uploading or syncing a PSD to your CC Files space, which comprises a minimum of 2GB storage and comes along with any CC membership. You can upload files directly via the web interface , or you can use the CC desktop app to automatically sync files from your computer.
